Three exceptional artists, Susie Ganch, Anya Kivarkis and, Sayumi Yokouchi , speak about the development of their provocative jewelry. Kivarkis and Yokouchi received their MFA's from SUNY New Paltz and Ganch received hers from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Presented by the Society of North American Goldsmiths.

Metalsmith magazine editor Suzanne Ramljak explores the concept of framing as it relates to the structure, display and wearing of jewelry, in conjunction with the magazine's “Exhibition in Print 2007” exhibit on view at SOFA Included in trhis exhibition are works by gallery artists, Melanie Bilenker, Kristine Bolhuis, Esther Knobel, Sondra Sherman, Johan Van Aswegen

Artist Marjorie Schick traces her exploration of large-scaled jewelry and sculpture to wear, expanding the definition of jewelry. Presented by the Society of North American Goldsmiths.

Since 1990, Haystack has invited writers from varied backgrounds—makers, researchers, philosophers, poets and others—to examine contemporary craft, and published the results. Stuart Kestenbaum , Director, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Deer Isle, ME, examines the content and context of this work.
